Practice

Mrs. Caroline Agee is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and is currently working towards her licensure as a School Psychologist in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She provides executive function coaching and educational consultation. Executive function coaching is offered for late elementary school, middle school, high school, and college students who experience challenges with executive function skills. Consultation may benefit parents whose children are having academic, behavioral, or social-emotional difficulties in school and may require additional support to be successful. Parents who are navigating the special education process may also benefit from educational consultation. Mrs. Agee is available to attend school meetings with parents.

Education and Experience

Mrs. Agee earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Virginia. She earned her Master of Education and Educational Specialist degrees in School Psychology from the College of William and Mary. She gained practical experience with elementary, middle, and high school students during a practicum for Gloucester County Public Schools and an internship for Norfolk Public Schools. She received training and practice in psychoeducational evaluation, identification of educational disabilities, neuropsychological assessment, instructional strategies for students with disabilities, language development and reading instruction, counseling, positive behavioral supports and functional behavioral assessment, developmental psychopathology, academic and behavioral intervention, and consultation.

Mrs. Agee served two years as a School Psychologist for Richmond Public Schools. She was an active member of Child Study Intervention Teams, during which she collaborated with parents and school staff regarding students’ academic and behavioral challenges, recommended specific strategies to assist students, and monitored student progress. She has experience in the assessment of learning disabilities, attention and executive functioning concerns, autism, intellectual disabilities, developmental delays, emotional disabilities, and traumatic brain injuries.

Caroline lives in Bon Air, Virginia with her husband and two dogs, Crosby and Layla. She joined Westhampton Family Psychologists in 2017.
