Caroline Agee, Ed.S., NCSP
Caroline Agee is a Licensed School Psychologist and Nationally Certified School Psychologist. She is passionate about empowering children and adolescents to reach their potential. She provides counseling for elementary school, middle school, high school, and college students experiencing school-related issues. She enjoys supporting children and adolescents with challenges related to anxiety, self-esteem, perfectionism, stress management, social skills, peer relationships, self-advocacy, and school transitions. She also enjoys assisting adolescents with college and career planning. Caroline also provides executive function coaching for students with needs in the areas of time management, organization, and planning to support their academic success.
Caroline provides educational consultation, during which she collaborates with parents to determine realistic steps that can be taken to support children and adolescents experiencing learning, behavioral, and/or social-emotional difficulties. Parents who are navigating the special education process may also benefit from educational consultation.
Education and Experience
Caroline Agee earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Virginia. She earned her Master of Education and Educational Specialist degrees in School Psychology from the College of William and Mary.
Caroline served two years as a school psychologist for Richmond Public Schools. She was an active member of intervention and child study teams, during which she collaborated with parents and school staff regarding students’ academic and behavioral challenges, recommended specific strategies to assist students, and monitored student progress. She has experience in the assessment of learning disabilities, ADHD, autism, intellectual disabilities, developmental delays, emotional disabilities, and traumatic brain injuries.
Caroline currently works as a contract school psychologist for Henrico County Public Schools, providing psychoeducational evaluations for students. She also provides cognitive evaluations for the admissions department at St. Christopher’s School. Caroline offers programs at local private schools, including St. Edward’s and Collegiate, on topics including organizational skills.
Caroline is passionate about working with adolescent girls. She has gained expertise in working with girls through her involvement as a mentor with UVA’s Young Women Leaders Program, a Board member and coach for Girls on the Run, and providing group counseling for girls.
Caroline lives in Goochland with her husband and two dogs, Crosby and Layla. She joined Westhampton Family Psychologists in 2017.
